Unlike some other fellow Keto followers, I firmly believe that variety in food is the key to surviving the norms of Keto. I, for one, cannot have bacon and eggs and cheese and chicken all my life. Even if I have just two bites, I like to squeeze in as many components in my macros as I can.
So, I have another easy working lunch idea for you today that just takes ten minutes to cook. And the overall net carbs in the dish is only – 9 g!
Let’s make Ketogenic Sautéed Broccoli with Cheese, Omelet & Hung Curd
My working lunch today consisted of:
Sautéed Broccoli with Cheese
1. All you need to do is chop 100 gms Broccoli and sauté it in Olive oil. Add any spices you like.
2. If you are using blanched florets, they will be ready in five minutes. I like the crunch of raw broccoli, so I just added a dash of water and covered it for five to seven minutes.
3. Once the broccoli is done, slice a cheese cube in it and switches off the heat.
Egg Omelet
You can figure this one out yourself. I carried a plain omelet of three eggs to work. I simply added chopped coriander and green chilies to the beaten egg and then cooked it in olive oil.
Dessert – Hung Curd with Almonds
My meal has to end with something sweet. I carry 50 gm of hung curd/Greek Yogurt, with stevia and 6 chopped almonds to work every day.
