Keto Creamy Paneer Makhani Recipe
Equipment
- Large skillet or pan To sauté the paneer and cook the makhani sauce.
- Cutting board and knife For chopping onions, garlic, and ginger.
- Spatula or wooden spoon For stirring the ingredients
- Blender (optional) To puree the tomato sauce for a smooth texture.
- Measuring cups and spoons To measure spices, cream, and other ingredients accurately.
- Mixing bowl For marinating or setting aside paneer, if needed.
- Serving dish For presenting the dish beautifully at the table.
Ingredients
- 300 grams of Paneer cut into cubes
- 1 medium Red Pepper (Optional) cut into squares
- 1 Small Onion Peeled & Finely Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Butter or Ghee
- 1 ½ Tablespoons Tomato Purée
- 200 grams of Heavy Cream
- Marinade
- 2 Teaspoons Turmeric Powder
- 1 easpoon Ginger Ground
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 easpoon Chili Powder
- 2 easpoons Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Ground
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the spices and lemon juice, and give it a good mix.
- Add the paneer cubes and pepper and mix with the spice blend, then let the mix hang out in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a big saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes, until soft.
- Add in the minced garlic and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add in the marinated paneer and pepper, then cook it all together for 5 minutes. Stir it occasionally to make sure it cooks evenly.
- Now add in the tomato paste and heavy cream. Give it a good stir, then let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Top it off with some chopped fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.
