While on the Keto diet, I have discovered a version of coffee that will sound most outrageous, but Keto lovers get hooked on to it like magnets, the Keto Bulletproof Coffee. The bulletproof coffee is a lifesaver for people who want to start their day with a bang. It’s like a shot of energy that sets the ball rolling for the body, for the first half of the day or more.
There are many versions of it on the Internet. Please remember that we Indians have a unique metabolism, which cannot adapt to excessive fat and high protein diet easily. So we really cannot adapt to the original version, which suggests grass-fed butter and an MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) rich oil.
There is also another glitch, finding an original ingredient like grass-fed butter easily, is not possible in India. I can suggest white butter which is commonly made in Indian households as a substitute. I have tried it a few times, and it blends pretty nicely.
I can, however, share my Indianized version with you, which is absolutely delicious. You will need just three ingredients for it.

Notes
What does Keto bulletproof coffee do?
When you load your body with fat and calories, first thing in the morning, you are sending it a message to start the process of using fat for energy all day. Hence, it aids the state of ketosis. And if you don’t know what that means click here please. Your mind will get alert and your body will feel charged up for a long time. In other words, it can be used as a replacement for breakfast. I can vouch for its utility in a Keto diet, and its high performance in getting me charged for the day. But let me be honest, I do not skip breakfast with it, as I am not adding butter to my coffee, which the original recipe requires. A cup of bulletproof coffee has 300 to 450 calories, depending on the quantity. On the whole, the coffee is a creamy concoction that manages to satisfy your soul and keeps you satiated for a long time. Try it, at least once...The coconut oil can be substituted with ghee, but I cannot comment on the taste as I have never tasted one with it. The Patanjali oil has no artificial smell or essence, and it blends very nicely with any Indian coffee brand. You can also add some butter to it, entirely up to you.
The final result should resemble an oil slick, on top of a dark murk. It has a unique nutty flavor due to the oil. This enigmatic experimentation slides down without any effort, lubricating your insides. You will be jolted out of your sleep and feel absolutely awake. The bulletproof coffee can be called a beverage for breakfast, that is sure to attract many caffeine-addicted humans. For those of you who can’t take the smell of coconut oil, add your favorite essence to it.
Another handy tip that I would like to give you, order yourself a hand blender, the ones that are designed for a single cup. Use it in the coffee when it is ready and the coffee gets a makeover. The oil and coffee combine to make a creamy froth on the top, which is absolutely delicious.
Dave Osprey, a self-described biohacker, gets the credit for introducing this coffee to the Western world. But, Indians have been having their version of it for centuries. For your information, Buddhist monks have been having tea laced with yak butter since epochs.
